SAILING AREA
Launch from beautiful Caribbean beach into small but often nasty shorebreak, choppy water with no breaking waves for about 200 metres out to reef with waves breaking for about forty metres, then out to open ocean with beautiful rolling swells.
Current pulling you downwind, so good blasting experience and basic wave sailing and upwind ability recommended. Also this course is only recommended for people under 85 kilos as winds are quite light for wave sailing.
WETSUITS Shorts! If you really feel the cold, you might occasionally wear a shorty.

MEALS
Breakfast - At apartments, usually we take turns in cooking each other breakfast and dining together in main dining room. Lunches - At apartments, often chicken roti's! Dinner - Barbados has a wonderful variety of restaurants from the sorts that Madonna might visit to the epic fish markets and Chicken Rita's, where culture hungry people like us frequent! Amazing food, especially the seafood, often proclaimed as the best ever.
DRINKS & NIGHTLIFE. Two minutes walk from Inchcape is the Coral House cocktail bar and restaurant, which we almost always visit for après windsurf refreshments, if we're not enjoying a Mount Gay Rum and coke or Banks Beer on the balcony. For at least on night during the week we go to the Ship Inn, where for a nominal door charge of a few quid, the drinks are free all night to the thousand party maniacs from all over the world and Barbados getting down to some bump 'n' grind! Or there's the incredible Oistins fish market with all the local Country and Western swoon bars where we've been regularly known to croon with the elderly locals, drink cheap rum and coke, eat amazing meals and dance in the streets to reggae and ragamuffin concerts. The nightlife in Barbados is exceptional and culturally fascinating.
