WIND Side shore from the left, strong all day long, relatively steady all the way out. WIND STATISTICS Windy for 40 out of 42 INtuition coaching days in Margs in the passed four years! SEA STATE Flat water inshore, small steep chop 300m - 600m out, small rolling swell outside. Clear water but not classic turquoise.
SAILING AREA Standing depth, flat water for up to 150 metres out, then into open sea with world champion freestylers going through their routines. Small beach with palm trees and cocktail bars. WETSUITS Shorts for everyone.
RENTAL CENTRE Fun Systems The most windward centre ensuring the smoothest water and cleanest wind, using JP boards and Neil Pryde sails.
HOTEL Casa Viva- family run hotel right on the beach. TRANSFER TIME 10 mins from airport
BEACH FACILITIES Cocktail bars, restaurants, err, anything else you need in paradise? Sun loungers, shades etc. WINDSURFING ALTERNATIVES Sight seeing, horse riding, beginners surfing.

MEALS Breakfast - Hotel buffet on terrace. Lunch - Gerry's beach bar- best food in El Yaque. Dinner - Great variety of quality local restaurants, all within walking distance of hotel or short taxi ride into the real Venezuela. DRINKS & NIGHTLIFE. El Yaque is a windsurfing paradise hidden away from the real Venezuela to cater for even the weakest tourist, and thus has an isolated but vibrant nightlife. From the beach bars where cocktails are less than a quid, to Ricardo Campellos' mums chill out pad, the Ipanema bar, on the roof top of Windsurf Paradise Hotel, and then if you're still standing after a non-stop day of windsurfing, Los Pirates is a drunken stroll down the road for a mad night to seal your fate. Margarita will have you Salsa dancing, is the birthplace of the Margarita cocktail (and apparently pizza) where coca cola is more expensive than rum.
