We've just returned from another incredible INtuition week in Ireland. If you've already been on INtuition trips you know what an awesome week is. Well, this was one of those! Mind blowingly good conditions, massive surf and brilliant fun. I'll let the INtuition guests do the talking-

Moulay, Morocco Sept 10-17 INtuition Freewave and Surf Gods report

INtuition's first trip to Moulay was a massive experience- the first day of the course was the best wave sailing of the year said local rider and World Cup wave sailor Boujama Guillol. Both the wind and Boujama blew us away in the mast high surf- it was incredible! Please see the photos in our gallery.

Moulay has a population of only about forty people who welcomed us into their tiny fishing village. We block booked all the accommodation in town- there was only just enough beds for us all- and I could see by the look on my guests faces, this was a proper surf trip! We dined on BBQs, home cooked tagines and a few great meals at Lawama cafe. We were entertained by the local kids who hung out with us on the beach almost everyday.

We scored incredible waves- one day was so big for the first time ever we actually couldnt sail or surf on an INtuition course. The Atlantic had turned into jagged walls that marched into the Moulay rocks relentlessly all day.

Our host- Bruno from Magic Fun Afrika- was fantastic pioneering the Moulay area for groups and individuals in search of something very different in Morocco.

Wild winds threw us into orbit for the first days of the Freewave course in early September with a lovely bunch of repeat offenders from INtuition. Only one newcomer managed to get on the course from Australia/ Dubai, so it was wonderful for me to be able to show so many of my regular guests around this stunning city with so much experience. The wind actually wasnt very good for the week but we had three days of wave sailing, a day of surfing and plenty of beach sessions with INtuition's muscle memory and a fantastic trip for everyone.

Windsurfers vs Extreme 40 - who is king of the sea?

Recently I went head-to-head against the Extreme 40s- 12 metres of high tech carbon fibre with 180m of sail area! In front of 3000 spectators we had incredibly close racing to establish once and for all- who's faster- the Formula One of the sailing world, or the windsurfer. To announce the launch of the Guy Cribb Windsurfing INtuition Facebook page we held an online competition to win some VIP tickets to the Extreme 40 show and even some fifth man seats- which is basically a passenger seat on the X40s- imagine sitting next to Sebastian Vettel during one of his Formula One races? Mary Shields of INtuition fame won the fortune and joined twelve of INtuition's most regular guests with free VIP passes and 5th man seats as a big THANKYOU for all your support. Cornwall Freewave and Surf Gods weekend- Sept 24/25

INtuition's wave weekend in Cornwall scored amazing conditions as usual. Gwithian is England's best wavesailing beach and when my coaching had finished, the Sunday evening session was the best wave sailing I've had all year- incredible! I often consider making Cornwall a long weekend course so watch this space for end of September 2012....It would be fantastic for all the Europeans to hit the shores of the UK- afterall, 6 of the top 20 wave sailors on the professional world tour are from the UK- more than any other nation- so Cornwall must be good! Two of the world's leading windsurfers- Robby Swift and Jurgen Wildermuth have both broken their feet. Many of you will of met Jurgen on INtuition trips. He joined us to learn to waterstart two years ago in Dahab and has been on loads of courses since then with INtuition-
Venezeula, Morocco, Baja, Brazil working his way up to ultimately sail Maui in Hawaii where he rode big surf with us this year. He was about to join us in Moulay but broke his foot- disaster for him, but the pro world tour can breathe a sigh of relief. On about his fifth course with me in Baja where he was developing his wave riding, I asked him to rig up- "Vas is das?" It transpired Jurgen had never actually rigged up before as the only windsurfing he'd done was on INtuition courses! Wishing both Robby and Jurgen a speedy recovery for their world tour come back.

Dahab, INtuition Freeride Oct 30- Nov 6 FULLY BOOKED

If you wanted the ultimate winter getaway close to Europe to crack the carve gybe and improve waterstarts, to name just two of the awesome features of this wonderful INtuition experience, I'm really sorry but we're fully booked at this flat water paradise! We've been enjoying the very best Dahab can offer for over a decade so expect remarkably good food and an endless supply of pro edition JPs if you can join me here in May 2012.

2012

Looking ahead we kick off 2012 with two new venues- Western Australia and Bonaire in the Caribbean. Then the annual trip to Maui- the Mecca of windsurfing for all the INtuition guests who've worked their way up through the courses to ultimately sail at the majestic Hookipa- windsurfing's equivalent of the Superbowl. From there to a long weekend course in Texas at Corpus Christi for some high wind action. Then to Morocco for guests to learn how to sail in waves- for many this is their biggest step forwards to the Maui trip, then back to Dahab for the ultimate winter flat water spot to crack carve gybing, footstrapping and waterstarts. We have a summer of love- freeriding in Greece including the first INtuition family week- combining a windsurfing coaching holiday with kids clubs and family activities to give you the best of both worlds. I want to make this the ultimate trip for the kids, for the mums and for the dads! Everyone is going to get their me time!
